About Us

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) was established in 1982 as the national voice of Canadians living with hearing loss. Today, CHHA is a national organization which supports Canadians from coast- to-coast with 23 regional networks ensuring that every individual with hearing loss has what they need to hear and to be heard.

At CHHA we recognize the importance of inclusivity and understanding the broader spectrum of hearing loss experiences. Therefore, our course content will also encompass valuable information and resources relevant to the Deaf community. This approach ensures a comprehensive learning experience that benefits everyone involved. We encourage you to reach out to National or Regional organizations that support the Deaf community for specific guidance and advice.
